pH Levels

 Defiitionn: pH (potential of hydeogen) is a scale of acidity from 0 to 14 with 7 being neutral.


All solutions have a pH. Acid solutions,have lower pH. Alkaline solutions, have higher pH, Substances that aren't acidic or alkaline ( that is,neutral solutions) usually have a pH of 7. Acids have a pH that is less than 7. Alkaline have pH that is greater than 7.

  3. Lemon - 2
  4. Vinegar - 3
  5. Tomato  4
  6. Coffee - 5
  7. Milk - 6
  8. Water 7
  9. Blood - 8
  10. Baking soda - 9
  11. Stomach Tablets - 10
  12. Ammonia Solution - 11
  13. Soap - 12
  14. Bleach - 13
  15. Drain clean - 14
