Writing: Descriptive Narrative

 Malo E Lelei,

  Today I am going to tell you about my writing. we have been learning to write a descriptive narrative. 

  We have been learning to change telling to describing.We have been using the 6 senses witch are feel/Touch,see,smell,Hear,emotion. We have been changing I  to The in our sentence's. The sentence I changed I to the was. I was on a street near lots of shops and I changed it to the street was cold as I lay down and closed my eyes. The smell of hot bread wafted from the bakery.  

My narrative is about me being homeless, this is my writing. 

One cold dark night the street I slept on was really dark I couldn't see anything so I went to sleep. But then three men came and took my favorite necklace. I thought they wouldn't come back but they came back. They came back and they tried to kidnap me but I kept on kicking them. So they pulled out a knife and told me to be quiet.

Topic: Crystal

This week and last week we have been learning about Crystals. Crystal's are formed by time,space and water. Crystal's are made from mineral's but we used borax solution to make our crystal's.

 And I think it was last week or the week before that when we made crystal and we left it for so long and yesterday we emptied our solution and we saw our crystals. We made our crystal with pipe cleaners,borax and hot water. And the material we used was just a pencil and string. Here is a video of me and my buddy explaining what we are doing.

Today I am telling you about my math's. This week we have been learning about the context of measurement. We have been measuring some big objects to see how long it is. Length means the long part that you are measuring. Width means the short part of what you are measuring.

The length of the couch is 127.5 cm

Topic: Metamorphic Rocks

Aloha everyone,

 Welcome back ,Today I am here to tell you what I have been learning for topic. 

We have been learning about Rocks and we call it earth science. If you don't know what a Metamorphic rock is. A Metamorphic rock is a type of rock that is formed by heat and pressure. On Tuesday we made igneous and metamorphic rocks out of chocolate. We went into groups some people made igneous rocks with Miss D and the rest made metamorphic rocks with tinfoil and also chocolate.
