How cars are helpful
Genre: Article
Author & illustrator of the text:
Bronwen Wall & Scott Pearson
Paragraph:
The first motor arrived in New Zealand more than 120 years ago. William Mclean decided that he would take the mayor of Wellington out for a little drive but they had an car accident. Cecil Woods built a car and it was so loud that it would scare the horses and the butcher.
Minus:
Pollutes the air
Could break down
Could have an accident
Would have been expensive to buy
Plus:
Carry heavy loads
Faster than walking
More comfortable than horses
Faster than a bag
“Cars made it even easier to move around and keep in contact, But they were very expensive. Only wealthy people could afford one”
Vehicles made it easier to move around heavy loads, But they were pricey. And only people that were rich could afford one.
Yes I would buy one because it would be more comfortable and faster to go around.
That's all BYE
